Farewell dinner for Zen.

For weeks we've been debating on where to dine on the occasion of a farewell dinner for Zen. We settled at Canton-I at last, because HQ's initial suggestion, Serai, was not received fondly by a couple of friends who didn't enjoy their previous dining experience there.

"For such an exorbitant price, I could get a tastier food at a lesser price elsewhere."

Triggered me into starting to ponder because I have always assumed food in Serai to match its fame because of the long queue outside of the restaurant I spot whenever I'm at Empire.

Sweetie pie Wen Qi.

Eik Ren's mango dessert.

He was kind to offer all of us but I politely declined because I was gleefully slurping on my water.

Pictures credits to Jeanne!

My photos all of a sudden have gone on an auto-rotate mode so please bear with the malfunction!

Incase you are puzzled as to why there seems to always be a hand shooting out in the middle of the picture... Read on because I'll explain.

That's HQ mischievously attempting to prevent Jeanne from capturing a picture of the food.

Ooh, someone's caught red handed. Hahahaha.

The aftermath.

My hair that night was horrible (also I cannot explain why was I captured with that bottle in my hand hahaha) but I decided to have these posted because my long lost dear friend, Yu En, finally made a come back in our hang out session after such a long disappearance hahaha.

My friend, Jeanne took these and sent them to me. Sighhhhhh these negative body image thoughts are real and will haunt me.

I had NO IDEA AT ALL Jeanne took these pictures of me, until she later showed me.

Resting bitch face is real.

Forgive me for I do not mean to send out these angry vibes. Promise I wasn't agitated, probably just allowing my mind to wander off.

Check out Jeanne's gorgeous Cheongsam! Love these guys!

After dinner we stopped by HQ's house to hang out a little while.

Chin Siang, my fellow Putra Heights residence buddy, always delightfully optimistic and positive I'm inclined to smile and laugh more whenever I'm with him.

With HQ who graciously hosted us for the night. Hope we didn't cause too much of a nuisance or trouble to your family!

I wasn't in the picture because I served as the photographer! Of course my friends look fantastic!

Ah Gong Ah Ma seated with all their grandchildren standing behind respectfully. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Look at the three gentlemen at the back clearly upset about Zenny's departure especially a certain someone who holds her fiercely close to his heart. *coughs* Not going to mention names to respect privacy, or rather to avoid being bashed up. Hahahaha.

Such cuties.

By the time this picture was taken, the boys were walking out of the picture muttering: "好了好了" which in this context meant "Enough, enough of the pictures..." Hahahaha.

Yu En couldn't be bothered to entertain my non stop clicking. Hahahaha I'm amused.

CS helped take these pictures, just so I could join in. Many thanks.

Next to my super chio and stylish girls

We arrived around 10.30 p.m. and left as soon as the clock turned 11.30 p.m. because we felt awful getting in their way to rest and a few among us, namely Zen and Aril were especially overcome by fatigue last night.

Thank you, once again, for the great night.

The one we're bidding goodbye to in hours *cue tears*- our darling, petite (but don't estimate her size- she's a powerhouse packed with talent!) Zenny Zen will be taking off to the University of Melbourne tonight to further her studies in Accounting & Finance.

Wishing you the best of luck and a safe, smooth flight!
Take care, Zenny Zen! Remember we all care and love you, I've no doubt your cheery and exuberant personality will win you so many friends, and may you have the best time of your life living your dream!

Keep in touch! Take care! And always, always have faith in yourself.
